The inserts re designed and shaped to fit the footprint of your DeWALT case or drawer

Check the product description for each DeWALT item listed, where we give a breakdown of all the cases that each insert will fit.

This is really up to you as it depends what you want to store in your DeWALT case and how deep the container in question is. You might even want to build up multiple layers of inserts. For small hand tools you might want to consider a 30mm depth of foam which would then allow you to cut down to a depth of around 20mm in which to house the items. Power tools might be better with a 50mm insert, giving you 40mm workable depth in which to cut them into the foam.

We do have more stock arriving all the time. So if what you’re looking for shows as out of stock, it’s worth checking again at a later date. If you need something more quickly for your DeWALT storage, and an alternative colour or depth of foam won’t work for you, perhaps consider making your own insert. We’ve created this easy guide to help.

Unless specified in the product description, no. The depth of foam for your DeWALT foam inserts will be as you select at checkout and the colour of the inserts in the pack would be the same.

Our range of ready made inserts is growing all the time. But because there are so many models of toolboxes out there, we aren’t always able to make inserts for all of them. Absolutely! Shadow Foam is reversible – either use the coloured side or the black side in your DeWALT storage – it's your choice.
