Shadow Foam Creations Episode 4
We have worked with Motamec to create a custom foam insert for their MTB-200 tool case. It is a heavy duty flight case, widely used in the motorsport industry. You can purchase this case for yourself with blank foam inserts here. In this video we show how to cut a standard set of tools in Shadow Foam. If you want to learn how to cut Shadow Foam, you can find out more here.
In the motorsport industry, especially in a high-level competitive environment, having tools on hand, and easy to find is essential. Organising tools in Shadow Foam means that not only do tools stay in their place when tool boxes move around, but every tool is in the same place every time. Imagine being able to open your tool box and being able to know exactly where the 10mm socket is. You may think that’s a luxury; however Shadow Foam is specifically made at a high grade, but still affordable. Don’t believe us? See what other people think.
Check out the video to see how we made it and get a closer look at it.
